Getting that carefree, glowy, just-back-from-the-beach look when you’ve been nowhere near a beach requires a beauty cheat or two!
Here’s a great one: Trevor Sorbie’s Beautiful Curls Beach Hair (£5.10), below, can be sprayed onto dry hair to give instant sea and surf-mussed texture.

It adds body and gives the sort of matte finish and feel you’d get from salt spray (so this isn’t one if you want a glossy, polished look!).
Surf’s up!!

LOVE these – especially the Gold, which I’ve been sporting over the Olympic weekend!
What’s more, Butter London polishes are free from formaldehyde, toluene and phthalates, along with parabens, synthetic fragrances and petroleum. So, they’ll appeal to natural beauty buffs and, I’ve got to say, the very fluid colour glides on beautifully - even more easily than some thicker, traditional polishes, I thought – and wears well.
The trio above costs £30 (at Harvey Nichols and online at butterlondon.com), but you can buy individual colours – and the range is AMAZING!! – at £12 each.
These get the nonstopmama Gold!!
