What are your everyday make-up must-haves?
How do you look after your hair, and style it in a hurry?
I used to be blonde – what a pain. Now I have gone back to my natural colour, that’s a time-saver in itself. Generally, I tend to whizz my hair up into a messy bun when I am heading to the office. Or, on the days when my husband takes the kids to school and I head to London for meetings, I at least get the chance to blow dry it! I love Moroccanoil hair Oil for the dry ends on these days, too.
Any bodycare favourites, products you love?
I know I am biased, but I truly believe there’s nothing better than the NEOM Body Oil (below). It’s a twice award-winner and the most hydrating body product ever. Plus it actually sinks into and treats your skin as opposed to sitting on top and giving you that false silky feeling which washes away next time you shower.
Nails: nude, bright or au naturel?!
If I have time, I love to go bold. I use the Butter London 3 Free Nail Lacquer range. For colourful toes, I love it in Blowing Raspberries (below).
Any beauty indulgences you try and make time for?
I try and make time to visit a salon near to me in Ilkley. It’s the most amazingly run salon called One the Crescent. When I get a free pass on a Saturday, after my little girl’s ballet class, I head down for a well-deserved pedicure.
For a real treat, I like to travel a little further and spend the day at Titanic Spa in Huddersfield. It has won numerous awards and the Heat and Ice Experience is a really fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon with friends.
What’s the best beauty trick you’ve ever been shown?
Top tip: grapeseed oil is amazing. It’s cheap and brilliant as a make-up remover. Or perhaps combine it with your favourite moisturiser, for that added moisture boost.
