Product reviews

While nonstopmama accepts products and samples services for review on our magazine-style daily updates – both ‘on spec’ and on request – we don’t write paid-for reviews or editorial unless this is clearly stated, in the form of a ‘Sponsored post’ or ‘Sponsored video’.

Compensation will come solely from our advertisers, sponsors (via Sponsored posts and Sponsored videos) and through our affiliate advertising partners (a clear explanation of how this works is given on all pages of the site, in the right hand sidebar).

In addition, when a product reviewed in editorial happens to be available for sale through one of our affiliate partners, we will include a text link which means that nonstopmama receives a small percentage of any purchase made (for example, with featured books, DVDs and other products readily available online at Amazon). This does not, however, influence our choice of products mentioned in editorial posts. We feature and link to many more e-commerce sites with which nonstopmama has no affiliate partnership or business connection whatsoever.

Nonstopmama will not necessarily feature the products of our advertisers or sponsors products within our editorial, although – as we will only include advertising and sponsorship from brands we think our readers will be interested in – this will inevitably happen!

Giveaways/competition prizes on nonstopmama are generously donated by the companies concerned. These are often linked with editorial reviews or interviews on the site (more on giveaways and competitions below).

Giveaways and competitions

Entry is by email, limited to UK residents and one entry to each giveaway per person.

Entrants must be subscribers to nonstopmama’s free updates (when you sign up to receive updates, a follow-up email will be automatically sent to ask you to confirm that you wish to subscribe. Please respond to this email in order to complete subscription process. It is possible to unsubscribe at any time).

Winners will be drawn at random – using random.org – and notified by email.

If we have no response from a winner within 48 hours, we will send another email notification. After 72 hours, we will (regretfully) have to assign the giveaway to the next, randomly selected entrant.

While we’ll do all we can to ensure winners will receive their prize safely and swiftly, nonstopmama cannot be held responsible in the unfortunate event of a prize becoming lost in the post or if we have been supplied with an incorrect address in error. If, for some reason, a giveaway becomes unavailable, we will endeavour to substitute it with one of similar value but cannot guarantee this. But we would always hope to be able to do so, if possible, as a matter of goodwill.

Charity banner ads and ‘buttons’

Nonstopmama is privileged to be able to support fantastic charities by displaying banner ads and ‘buttons’ on our pages. Needless to say (but we will, anyway!), we receive no compensation whatsoever from doing so. We’re honoured to be able to spread the word about brilliant causes in both or ads and editorial, when possible.

The views and opinions and expressed by others (those quoted in editorial posts,  ’Five minutes with …’ interviews, videos and more) at nonstopmama do not necessarily represent those of nonstopmama and its editorial team. The views expressed by our editorial team – and not attributed to others, in quotes or otherwise – are purely our own. We endorse only products that we truly believe in, based on our experience in a journalistic capacity (and as mothers, fathers and more!). Any claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the product’s manufacturer or provider.
