Follow your noses to M&S later this week, mamas, you’re in for a treat!!
British perfumer Lyn Harris, whose Miller Harris range of classic fragrances and bespoke blends are loved by the beauty and fashion pack, has created a collection of six fragrances in collaboration with Marks & Spencer (she’s pictured with them, above): three for women and three for men (take note if you’re looking for Christmas pressie inspiration already!).
I’ve interviewed Lyn, who trained to be a fragrance ‘nose’ in France, many times before and she is just lovely: a nonstopmama herself who is now London-based, her enthusiasm for her work – not that I think she’d call it that, actually – is infectious. She is truly passionate about it. And hugely talented.
Her range of fragrances for M&S is prettily packaged in pastel boxes: take your pick from La Rose, with top notes of rose petals, galbanum and red berry and a patchouli, sweet musk and amber base; the light, floral La Fleur and La Poudreé, an Oriental classic.
Made with top quality raw ingredients, the fragrances (£25 each) will arrive in the Your Beauty department at selected M&S stores on 20 September and online.
Pick up the scent!
