How to get out of a make-up fix (fast) …

Neutrogena WipesI made such a mess of my make-up the other morning. Usual, on-the-run routine – tinted moisturiser, rub-on blush, bronzing powder – scuppered by stray bronzer brush hair (it happens, and usually when you’re really in a rush. But you can’t just leave it, since you don’t want to look like the Gruffalo).

In trying to rub it off (no, no, no), I successfully took off all three layers of make-up in one, now glaringly pale and pasty-looking area. Nice. No time to wash it all off and start again but a good moment to test Neutrogena’s new Deep Clean Make-Up Remover Refreshing Wipes (£2.99). Success! One wipe speed-cleaned the offending area, without spreading elsewhere (these ones are oil-free, so maybe that helps). Quickie patch-up job done. No doubt they’d be equally great for sticky fingers and mascara runs.
