Last year, the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning for Macmillan Cancer Support raised over £10,000 as a result of nationwide activities on every scale – from coffee and cakes with girlfriends at home, to organised events on a larger scale.
This year’s morning will be on Friday 28 September, so why not host a coffee for a good cause at home, with a few other nonstopmamas?
You can even pick up some fund-raising, special edition ‘kit’ in the online “coffee shop”, to help your gathering go down a treat, such as the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning Cake Stand (£10), above, so you can display your goodies and raise more funds at the same time! (They also sell the classic Hummingbird Bakery Recipe Book, at £6.99 – total classic!).
Or, to make life even easier, you could just head to your nearest M&S Café on the day, as M&S – who are an official partner of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning – will be donating 50p for every coffee sold to the cause, and 10p from the sale of a range of sweet treats including the new Belgian Chocolate and Orange Cake (YUM!!).
