Morning, nonstopmamas – hope you had a great weekend!!
First up this morning, something a little different! While we usually cover treats for mamas on these pages, I HAD to make the exception for two very lovely new goodies for little ones’ bathtimes (plus, both ranges support FANTASTIC causes!!).
A mad cross between play dough and soap (I said it was different!), LUSH’s latest creation is called FUN and that’s exactly what it is (for, um, little ones, but I challenge you not to want a squish, too!).
Raising funds for children affected by the 2011 earthquake, tsunami and Fukushima nuclear disaster, 10 p from each £5 bar of FUN can be played with like playdough but broken off into smaller pieces and used to wash your hands, body and even hair with, too! Preservative-free, the key ingredients are cornstarch and vegetable oil-derived glycerin.
It’s pictured above in Pink (of course!!), but it also comes in a range of colours including super-brights (see them all at lush.co.uk).
I’m also loving this – think shower gel meets squirty strawberry sauce …
Part of a new range of organic, botanically based natural bathtime goodies for children, Daniel Galvin Jr’s FAB Dubble Trubble collection supports The Prince’s Trust and is donating £25, 000 of the proceeds to the charity in the first 12 months of it going on sale (at Morrisons).
The formulas are free of parabens, SLS, mineral oils and animal ingredients and the star is the super-fruity 2-in-1 Shampoo and Body Wash - including Strawberry, above – plus there’s a Dubble Trubble Cool Cucumber Detangling Spray, to help make comb-throughs calmer (all £2.50 each)!
Good, clean fun!!
