Designed to give the look of a pro ‘gel manicure’ in a matter of seconds, the new imPRESS “Press On Manicure” by Broadway Nails (£7.99 at Boots) come in a range of designs, from a classic French Manicure through to funky patterns, florals and on-trend neons like Totally Busted (pictured above), a hot tangerine!
A hit with celebrity nail technicians and actresses Stateside, the nails are literally just pressed on (after removing the backing film) and peeled off up to 7 days later (although they recommend using a little nail polish remover to help things along).
What I love about them, too, is that if you don’t like the perfectly squared-off shape, once they are on you can file them with a glass nail file (super-easy, takes seconds) and get a look and length that’s right for you.
They’d be great for a special occasion, or to take on holiday (unless you’ll be in and out of water – I’m not sure how well they’d wear then. A traditional or gel manicure might still be the best option in that case).
