I know, rainbow streaks are the kind of thing you get from Claire’s for a tween sleepover party. But a mama friend of mine, who just had red extensions applied at the salon, is absolutely rocking the look!
The dip-dye look has never been hotter. This picture, of actress and fashion designer Laura Conrad’s dip-dyed tresses, caught my eye over at the The Beauty Bean blog (not least because it triggered childhood memories of multi-colouring my Girl’s World hair styling doll!!).
Laura’s colour was done professionally at an LA salon – almost certainly the way to go if you’re going to experiment with this ongoing trend for a bit of summer fun.
But you don’t have to go for brights. The dip-dye trend has also been spotted among the fashion and beauty pack on brunettes with bright blonde or honey-caramel tips.
Kind of makes a mama feel better about her roots!
If I had long hair I would defo try the dip dye look, love colourful hair & this way you could try out all sorts of colours
