Let’s get this September party started with some lovely news – our summer giveaway winners!
First off, we had an AMAZING response to the giveaway to win the limited edition Sugared Almonds Tangle Teezer Salon Elite (my daughter swiped ours this summer, so I barely got a look in! It’s oh so pretty …) AND a Magic Flowerpot Tangle Teezer for children!
There were SO many wonderful comments, from those who’ve already tried and wouldn’t be without their TT, and those who’ve heard the buzz and want to find out what all the fuss is about!
I’m delighted to say that the winner (drawn, as ever, randomly and by computer at random.org) is Ellie Jacobs (YAY, CONGRATS, Ellie!) who left the fabulous comment: “All my friends rave about these brushes, but have yet to try one. My daughter, being mixed race has terrible tangles and getting through it is a battle. Would love to put one to the test and have no more tears x”.
I can relate to that – with my mad half-English, half-Italian curls (which no hairdresser knew what to do with when I was little), growing up I pretty much ran away from my mother when it was hair washing and brushing time! IF ONLY TT’s had been around then!
HUGE CONGRATS to you, Ellie, hope you and your little girl love using them!!
Secondly, the winner of our gorgeous Balance Me giveaway – to win a full set of the awesome Super Toning body care range – is Lola Skinner – YAY, Lola! You mentioned in the comments that you’re already a fan, so I know you’re going to enjoy some seriously wonderful end-of-summer pampering with those!!
Speaking of which, the new, 100 % natural Rose Otto Body Balm (£25) has just launched – I’ve just tried it, and I know what I’m going to be slathering on my dry, post-beach and flip-flop feet over the coming weeks!
It’s one of those incredibly rich, intensive balms which you can slather on dry and rough skin anywhere – in my case, trouble spots to target are those feet (I’ll apply it before socks or tights, for a deeply moisturising treat), knees (looking a little self-tan patchy, it has to be said!) and elbows (always neglected, and always worthy of a blob of hydration!).
It’s a lovely big tub, too.
Most importantly, a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who took part in the fun, and for all your wonderful comments, which included LOTS of your own fantastic, tried and trusted tips for body buffing!
As ever, thanks SO much for sharing!!
