Something a bit different to start the day, mamas, but super-important!
This month, the Red Cross is launching a First Aid Challenge in the UK, encouraging as many people as possible – parents, schools, pupils, friends and family – to learn basic, life saving skills from Red Cross experts (find out more here!).
The aim is to encourage mamas to get together and plan a Red Cross first aid course locally, and to enlist as many schools as possible to do the same.
As from right now, though, everyone can check out the free British Red Cross First Aid Challenge online learning resource (it just takes moments, and is super-clear: just click onto the emergency situation you want to learn about, and read up on what to do while you’re having a cuppa!).
The Challenge kicks off on 26 October, at the Baby Show, Earls Court, but you can take action now – take a moment to get the quick lowdown here, and please spread the word, nonstopmamas!!
