First things first, I need to say that I’m not pregnant.
I just accidentally reviewed some (extremely gorgeous) maternity pyjamas.
To back up a little: when I saw these oh-so-sweet Amoralia ‘shortie’ PJ’s, I thought “we must feature them on the site”. As regular nonstopmamas here know, I’m always looking out for different labels – as well as my latest highstreet finds – to share with you, and pyjamas/loungewear can be a tricky thing.
Finding simple, pretty, classic cuts, minus sheep or slogans – although, these have their place, I know! – can be difficult and I thought these were just lovely.
And they absolutely are, but – as it become obvious when opened the (BEAUTIFULLY wrapped!) package – they are especially designed as maternity nightwear (the obviously pregnant model on the card inside gave the game away. I’m just glad I opened them instead of my husband).
In my defence, I’d say you simply wouldn’t know they were maternity wear: the design is just very simple, sweet and classic!
But what stands out is how they feel: they’re made of the most deliciously soft, supple fabric – ideal when you’re pregnant and can’t get enough of anything which feels comfortable and cosseting. The most luxe-feeling PJ’s I’ve come across, they’re cool but cosy and cleverly cut with a panel and soft drawstring waist to allow for bump growth.
I wish I’d had a pair when I was pregnant, as I’d have loved them and will now definitely recommend them when asked by mamas-to-be for maternity sleepwear recommendations! In fact, the whole range is just gorgeous!

* With thanks to Amoralia for having me review their lovely PJ’s. Even though I’m not expecting!
